At the end of February this year, I launched the Berlin pattern. At the time, it seemed a bit ridiculous to organize a blog tour for a Winter coat pattern, because the tour would then run well into Spring.
So now, it’s time to start the Belated Berlin Blog Tour! We’ll start off with 3 Belgian bloggers. I owe a very special thanks to their kids, as they have been modeling a Winter coat in ridiculously hot weather this week. Yes, global warming has been very kind to Hoppe lovers, but slightly less so to Berlin creators 😉
Jo Chapeau, as her stage name already suggests, specializes in hat making. But she also makes beautiful clothes for herself, her husband, her sons, and her beautiful little nieces and nephews. I know few people who are as versatile as Jo. She made two Berlin coats for the tour, and I’m so in love with both of them. Chapeau, Jo! 🙂 Check both out, here.
Bel’Etoile is another one of my favorite blogs. Isabel is a mom to two beautiful daughters, and creates the most stunning garments for them and for herself. She picked a very special fabric for her Berlin coat, and the result is jaw-dropping. I adore the combination of the vintage style pattern with the hyper modern fabric. Check out all the pictures, here.
Do I still need to introduce Katrien from Kaatjenaaisels? No, but I will anyway 😉 Katrien is one of my favorite bloggers, people, and since a few weeks: pattern designers! She always surprises everyone with her beautiful choices of fabrics, details, and styling. Her Berlin coat is simply spec-tac-u-lar! Make sure to drool over all her pics, here!
