In the past months, I have been working on a big project which I’ll finally be able to reveal this Autumn. Filling my daughters’ closets with new clothes was not something I had the time and energy for. And so, all of a sudden, Norah didn’t have a single dress anymore which fitted her. Oops.
When I was visiting De Stoffenkamer shop in Ghent a few weeks ago, my eye fell on a 80 cm coupon, which would be perfect for a quick and simple Tinny dress for Norah.
I had seen this fabric (Moonstone Ochre by Atelier Brunette) online a few times, but it was only when I saw it in real life that I realized how pretty it was. It is a light viscose, so perfect for twirling.
It was such a pleasure to sew a good old Tinny again, take some pictures, and share them on Instagram and here on the blog. I really missed that.
While The Big Project is not finished yet, I have decided to try to take out some more time again to sew for the girls. And… for myself!
Fabric: Atelier Brunette Moonstone Ochre available at De Stoffenkamer.
