Those of you who follow my blog know that I’m a fan of Sofilantjes patterns. They are not only impeccable; designer Anne is also one of the sweetest pattern designers I ever met. So when she asked me if I would be interested in testing her newest pattern, the ADVTee, I didn’t hesitate to say HELL YEAH!
The pattern comes in two versions: one with a regular V-neck, and one with a buttoned V-neck. I went for the first option. I had always heard that it was very difficult to sew a V-neck, so it seemed like an interesting challenge.
It turned out not to be difficult at all! Well, not with Anne’s instructions anyway.
The ADVTee has everything you expect from a good pdf pattern today. Clear instructions, well drawn illustrations, full info on sizing, yardage, and the like, and printing layers. Highly recommended, in other words.
I used a beautiful, double layer knit. It is super soft, and because of the two layers, it can be used as sweater fabric too. Where I found this special fabric? You’ll have to visit my blog tonight to find out.
You can buy the pattern here. And to celebrate this blog tour, Sofilantjes is giving a 20% discount on their patterns. You can use the code “CELEBRATE” at checkout from November 30th to December 6th.
